Terms & Conditions

Terms for online orders, delivery, and customer use in Kuwait.

These terms apply to Basbousa Kaseb’s website, social pages, WhatsApp ordering, and other digital ordering channels offered to customers in Kuwait.

Effective date: 1April 2026

Market: State of Kuwait

Acceptance of terms

By accessing the website or placing an order through any digital channel, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

Kuwait’s electronic transactions framework recognizes electronic contracting and gives legal effect to electronic agreements when the required conditions are met.

About the seller

Basbousa Kaseb is the trading name used for the sale of basbousa, sweets, desserts, and related items to customers in Kuwait.

Online sellers in Kuwait are required to clearly disclose their trade identity, contact details, product information, pricing, payment methods, delivery arrangements, and return or exchange policies.

Orders and availability

All products are subject to availability, production capacity, and ingredient supply.

Because products are freshly prepared food items, color, garnish, or presentation may vary slightly from display images.

Customers should review ingredient and allergen details before ordering and contact the business with any allergy-related questions before purchase.

Pricing and payment

All prices should be displayed in Kuwaiti Dinar unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges, offers, and accepted payment methods should be shown before checkout is completed.

Basbousa Kaseb may accept approved online payment methods, cash on delivery where available, or any other payment option shown at checkout.

Order confirmation and cancellation

An order is treated as submitted after on-screen confirmation, message confirmation, or another electronic acceptance from Basbousa Kaseb.

Basbousa Kaseb may refuse or cancel orders before dispatch where stock is unavailable, payment fails, delivery details are incomplete, fraud is suspected, or a pricing or technical error occurs.

Kuwait’s digital commerce rules recognize consumer protection around technical mistakes in electronic contracting and require transparent complaint and contract mechanisms.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery time is expressly confirmed.

Delays may occur because of traffic, weather, demand peaks, public holidays, or incorrect address details.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and remain reachable for order coordination.

Returns and refunds

Kuwait’s digital commerce law gives consumers a general 14-day withdrawal period for many online purchases, but that right does not apply to perishable goods and certain food-related services tied to a specific date or period.

Because Basbousa Kaseb sells fresh dessert and food products, orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once prepared, dispatched, delivered, or collected, except where the item is defective, unsafe, incorrect, or not as described.

If there is a problem with an order, the customer should contact Basbousa Kaseb as soon as possible, ideally on the same day, with the order number, issue details, and photos where relevant.

Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate order, payment, and delivery details.
  • Review ingredients and allergen information before purchase.
  • Use the website and order channels lawfully.
  • Avoid fraud, abusive conduct, and misuse of promotions.

Promotions and intellectual property

Promotions, discount codes, and bundles may be subject to validity periods, minimum order values, delivery area limits, or product exclusions.

Kuwait’s digital commerce rules prohibit misleading advertising and unauthorized use of logos and trademarks, so all store content, branding, visuals, and menus remain protected and may not be reused without permission.

Privacy and complaints

Personal data collected through orders, customer support, or delivery coordination is handled according to the Basbousa Kaseb Privacy Policy.

Kuwait’s legal framework requires businesses to handle personal data with appropriate safeguards, and digital commerce rules require transparent complaint-handling mechanisms for customers.

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and disputes will be handled by the competent authorities or courts in Kuwait unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
